APPRECIATION OF IWRM PRINCIPLES
  • Superficial understanding of holistic approach to
    water resources management but IWRM principles
    and processes yet to be grasped
  • People in academia and research institutions, few
    staff of FMWR, few NGOs are aware of IWRM
    principles but lack experience in implementation
    processes
  • Majority of stakeholders lack awareness of IWRM,
    therefore need to be sensitised
  • Informed stakeholders need to increase their
    level of awareness and be trained as trainers
