• NEI workforce study indicates
• 35 of nuclear employees will be eligible for
  retirement over the next five years
• Average employee age is 47
• For skilled positions at nuclear plants
• 14 of operations employees are under 33
• 6 of maintenance employees are under 33

• In addition to projected retirement attrition
• Expanding nuclear industry with new generation
  units
• Within two hours of Augusta Techs campus, four
  nuclear units are in the early stages of
  construction, including Southern Nuclears Plant
  Vogtle 3 4, which will be the first new nuclear
  units built in the last 30 years
• Each two-unit site employs approximately 850
  highly-trained and well-paid workers
