  • 35 of nuclear employees will be eligible for
    retirement over the next five years
  • Average employee age is 47
  • For skilled positions at nuclear plants
  • 14 of operations employees are under 33
  • 6 of maintenance employees are under 33

  • Expanding nuclear industry with new generation

    nuclear units are in the early stages of
    construction, including Southern Nuclears Plant
