  • Many compounded infusions are mixed in standard
    concentrations (felnoldopam, diltiazem,
    nitroprusside)
  • Concentrated Electrolytes
  • Concentrated electrolyte injections (potassium
    chloride, potassium phosphate, and sodium
    chloride) are not stored in o made available to
    patient care areas. Concentrated electrolytes
    are only available in the pharmacy for use in IV
    fluid preparation.
