evaluation of public policies related to labor
market and labor relations.
- Do Research using different data sources, some of
them developed by INE (such as household surveys,
national accounts), and others developed by the
Ministry.

- Development new and innovative data sources and
units of analysis. - Production of a significant number of
statistical operations. - Improvement of data production within the
Undersecretary. - The Employment and Business Dynamics Observatory
received an honorable mention for innovative work
at the Regional Award for Innovation in
Statistics organized by the World Bank. - Efforts focused on inventory, documentation and
diffusion of existing data using local
methodologies and tools.

Documentation methods were not completely aligned

- We learned about the microdata documentation
toolkit developed by ADP

- We evaluated the Toolkit, concluding that it
would - Improve the Ministry documentation process
- Reduce the mistakes coming from local designs
- Comply with international standards

We agreed to adopt the toolkit
- Training activity in Buenos Aires
- Work Plan proposal and agreement
- A multidisciplinary team was formed, gathering
people from different data producing areas.
