What is Cyber Bullying?
  • Bullying which is carried out through an Internet
    service such as email, chat room, discussion
    group, website or instant messaging. 
  • It can also include bullying through mobile phone
    technologies such as sms, recorded videos and
    picture messages.

Examples Of Cyber Bullying
  • Teasing and being made fun of
  • Spreading of rumours online
  • Sending unwanted messages, pictures or video
  • Defamation
  • Exclusion, blocking
  • Attacks
  • Stealing, hacking
  • Anyone can be bullied online and the bully can
    act anonymously if he or she desires.
  • People can also be bullied online by groups of
    people such as class groups or collective members
    of an online community.

How do I stay protected from Cyber Bullies?

  • Discuss cyber bullying with friends,
    family, teachers including any problems
    they have.

    school. Talk to the Teachers and ask their

    to them!

    especially related to online activity. Be aware
    of the latest updates and understand were Cyber
    Bullies may be and stay away.
