Differentiated Accountability
  • FCAT Performance will be used to place high
    schools and combination schools in DA Matrix.
  • Strategies and Support document aligned to SIG
    requirements (extended day, coaches, CTO, RED
    meetings, learning gain requirement)
  • Targeted support through Regions will be given to
    all of the schools in the lowest 5.
  • Same flexibility given to Non-Title I A, B,
    and C schools also given to Title I schools.

  • SIP-October 8, 2010
  • Baseline Data-October 1, 2010
  • Mid-year Data-January 21, 2010
  • Mid-year Narrative-February 4, 2010
  • Subject to State Board Approval

School Improvement Grant
  • USDOE Approval Update
  • Submission of Final Application-After release of
    FCAT scores
  • Reallocated SIG funds for summer activities to
    lowest 5 schools/districts
  • Select one of four intervention models
    (Turnaround, Restart, Close, Transformational)
  • Floridas application honors recent personnel
    changes made through DA (contingent on academic
    improvement)
  • Overall performance goals
  • Incentive/performance pay
  • Be bold AND thoughtful!

  • -Deep teaching and understanding of the
    standards/benchmarks
  • -Use of instructional coaches
  • -Lesson Study/PLCs
  • -Use of data to inform intervention/enrichment
