• For starters is the perceived failure of Jesus.
  I mean initially Jesus looks like a loser,
  executed like a common criminal, laid to rest in
  a borrowed tomb (John 1938-39).
• Then theres the failure of the disciples. Why
  Roman guards keep watch over Jesus tomb, but no
  disciples why the disciples huddle behind locked
  doors, focusing on self-preservation, not loyalty
  (John 2019).

• And then theres the failure of the women. I
  mean at least they showed up for Jesus, but they
  missed the message of Jesus, looking for a dead
  body, not a risen Lord (Luke 241-8).

• a mighty strength forms within us,
  equivalent to the power exerted in Christ when
  Godraised Christ from the dead (Ephesians
  119-20).

• But Peter eventually stops beating up on
  self, accessing healing in John 21. Follow me
  the resurrected Jesus declares in John 2119.
  And Peter follows -- receiving the love and grace
  of Jesus, once more.

• In fact as the resurrected Jesus appears to
  His disciples in Luke 24, the resurrected Jesus
  clarifies that the primary reason why He suffered
  and rose from the dead was so that .repentance
  and forgiveness of sins could be preached in
  His name (Luke 2446-47).

Radiate The Hope Of New Birth And New Life!

• And so we must repeatedly declare in the words
  of 1 Peter 1, the great mercy of God, who gives
  us new birth, into a living hope, through the
  resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead (1
  Peter 13).

• But praise God, because of Easter we need not
  be captive to the Zeigarnik Effect we can be
  captive to the Resurrection Revolution
