Title: This PowerPoint presentation starts with a basic Memorial Day quiz. As you go through the slides, discuss the correct answer. Kids

1
This PowerPoint presentation starts with a basic
Memorial Day quiz. As you go through the slides,
discuss the correct answer. Kids who know it
all love to let us know how smart they are.
Those who dont know what its all about, will by
the end of the session. After the quiz, use the
rest of the slides to discuss various aspects of
Memorial day. If you have some willing veterans,
have them come and show you how to do a real
salute or to stand at attention. If they still
fit in their uniform, ask them to wear it. End
your time praying for those who did serve and for
those serving now. Good luck getting through the
day without tears my son in law is in
Afghanistan, his name is Andy, if youve no one
else to pray for, you can pray for him! -) Of
course you can rearrange these slides however you
like. Depending on how much your kids are used
to discussing things, this whole presentation
should take about 45 minutes.

except perhaps an extra day off from work and
school, a barbecue, the start of the summer
holiday season, and for stores, the opportunity
to hold their annual Memorial Day Weekend sale.

In reality, the holiday is observed in honor of
our nation's armed service personnel who were
