Objectives Aims of MFFAM
  • Promote encourage
  • the development management of aquaculture and
    other related activities (Marine and brackish
    water) in Malaysia on the rationale for food,
    recreation and conservation.
  • Produce, publish disseminate latest information
    on sustainable aquaculture and related issues
  • Building good relationship with individuals
    organizations at the national and international
    level.

  • The main market for hatchery
  • produce fries is local farmers and

  • Total harvest - 100 tons per annum
  • Grow out - for local
  • consumption to meet the demand
  • from hypermarket factory
  • processing.

SEAFOOD PROCESSING PLANT
  • Located at Simpang Ampat, Seberang
  • Prai, Penang.
  • GST currently processes 200 tons of
  • seafood per month.
  • Main market for chilled fish fillet
  • export (air-flown) directly to Australia,
  • USA, Europe. Frozen fillet is for local
  • market.
  • GST also received global domestic
  • recognitions
  • HACCP, EU Certificated (EU.93), ISO
  • 9002 Certification Halal
  • Malaysia.
