WHAT IS COMMUNICATION?
  • We have two ears and one mouth because we should
    listen twice as much as we speak.
  • Only when we listen do we have anything
    worthwhile to say.
  • As a leader you will be judged by the words
    you speak.

    thought a fool than to speak and leave no
    doubt.

  • If your want your words to have influence speak
    with economy. Use the minimum number of words
    necessary to convey your thoughts.

Leaders are most interested in asking questions
about others than they are talking about
themselves. If you find yourself more interesting
than other people, then soon you will be the only
person who will listen to you.

  • An important tool for maintaining total
    communication is the proper use of feedback.

  • 1. Feedback is the way the receiver responds to
    the message the sender is expressing.
  • 2. Filtering is the group of
    perceptions that a message passes
    through when it is being exchanged.
