Definition of the project
  • It is about setting up modules aimed at emphisize
    the principles of the education to the
    environment through the activities of recreation
    and the activities of tourism realised by the
    pupils and students during their schooling.
  • These modules can be taught in the framework of
    classical and general teaching, such as
    geography, sciences of nature, physical and
    sportive activities, etc., or within specific
    programs

Context 
  • Nowadays, the education to the environment
    constitutes a major stake
  • Important interests coming from national and
    international decision-making bodies and
    institutions
  • Craze in support of the concepts of sustainable
    development, sustainable tourism, fair tourism,
    etc.
  • Recognition of morality and of responsibility in
    the approaches linked to the education anbd to
    the development
  • Recreations and tourism fill a paramount place
    in our societies and become as well, a mean of
    cultural and educative improvement of the citizen
    approach

Stakes objectives 
  • Paramount place of the recreation and touristic
    activities in the education programs especially
    by means of the outside activities and ground
    visits and fieldtrips
  • Gaining interest from the relation linking
    didactic, related to game and hedonistic
    approaches offered by this method
  • Very strong impact from the observation and the
    direct contact with the ground activities.
  • Methods really appreciated by school public.

Methodology approach 
  • These activities will cover various territories
    and issues 
  • The city,
  • The countryside,
  • The seashore,
  • The mountain,
  • The forest,
  • wastes,
  • energy,
  • The consumer goods (material and immaterial,
  • The agriculture,
  • the industry, etc.

  • Participants will be lead up to work on the
    foillowing notions
  • Sustainable tourism,
  • ecotourism,
  • The tourism of economic discovering including the
    industrial tourism,
  • Fair tourism,
  • Solidarity-based tourism,
  • Ethnic tourism,
  • etc.

  • The landscaping approach will set up an essential
    method in the modules to settle
  • Favour the exchanges of experiences and
    monitoring the modules setting up, especially
    between several element of the education
    structure
  • Set up an assessment scale, especially, to
    evaluate the impact in terms of sensibilisation
    to the questions of environment
  • Give value to the ability of each participants to
    transfer knowledges and contents
