  • Began in the Middle East (Saudi Arabia) during
    the 7th century C.E.
  • Prophet Mohammed started receiving the Quran in
    610 C.E. after seeing angel Gabriel who gave him
    the message of Allah.
  • History
  • In 622 Prophet Mohammed began to preach the
    religion. Khadija (his wife) was the second to
    convert to Islam.
  • Prophet Mohammed died on June 8th 632 A.D.

How it spread?

    of Allah.
  • The Ottoman Empire brought it to Eastern Europe.
