• These examples show us the way forward. But they
  are still the exception, not the rule.
• Energy and the environment always have to compete
  with other important issues.
• We need to find better ways to
• make energy improvements without unreasonable
  increases in costs for residents and users
• persuade all the actors in urban development to
  pull in the same direction
• combine good design with energy efficiency
