PSC is manufactured with high-grade clinker and the best quality Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBFS) that’s enriched with glass content. PPC's production involves a two-stage hydration process involving clinker and pozzolanic material resulting in denser gel formation. Both of these cements can be used for RCC work and both are also eco-friendly and cost-effective.
Whereas, PPC is proven to be more suitable for normal house building, even in aggressive environments. PPC has a low setting time, compared to OPC but it hardens over a period of time, with proper curing. Because of its higher heat hydration nature, it requires special care.
Essentially cement comes in 2 types, Ordinary Portland cement (OPC) & Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC). OPC 53 grade is the most preferred type for specific applications like pre-stressed concrete and high strength concrete.
