Dr Arthur Kanev has been a member of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation since 1985. He has helped fund the research against this terrible disease while also helping support those suffering from it. He is a former dentist who has helped others battle more than poor dental health. Chapter of Cystic Fibrosis from 1991 to 1995. He also served as the Vice-President of the Waltham Mass.

Arthur Kanev is a member and Deacon of the Sanctuary Church, which is a religious establishment that welcomes all into its bosom, regardless of their past or current life situations or histories. The church makes a special effort to be as accepting to all of those who wish to hear more about God, particularly as part of its ongoing ‘Celebration’ program. Arthur works closely with the church, cooking for the ‘Celebration’ program twice a month along with the many other missions he leads both within and without the church.

Dr. Kanev also attended Temple University Dental School, graduating with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree before continuing his education at Albert Einstein Medical Center with a General Dental Internship.

He has done a great deal of missionary work in South East Asia, Central and South America, and Haiti. He has also worked in Thailand, Cambodia, and South Vietnam. While there, he helps construct schools, medical, and dental facilities for communities. He also helps educate the members of these communities and teach them technical skills.

Arthur Kanev is the Founder, Director and Vice-President of Foundation Humedales; a Wetlands Foundation dedicated to the purchase, restoration and preservation of Mangrove wetlands on the west coast of Central America. He has worked internationally in other capacities as a missionary in Southeast Asia and is dedicated to helping indigenous people of poorer nations enjoy a heightened quality of life.

Arthur Carl Kanev is an adventurous personality who has traveled all over the world, collecting over 87 passport stamps from a number of interesting countries. He likes to ski on both water as well as snow, and will often take part in one of his favorite hobbies if the locale is conducive to it. He is also an avid fisherman, licensed Glider Pilot and hang glider.

Dr. Arthur Kanev is a retired dental specialist turned missionary who is on a journey to help those who are lost to be found again, through the word of God. Many people believe, his choice to become a missionary and to evangelize is a bizarre way of his spending his retirement.

Arthur Kanev is continuing his missionary work in South East Asia. He has worked in Thailand, Cambodia and South Vietnam; constructing schools, providing medical and dental clinics and implementing technical education programs for indigenous people. He is a member of the Missions Committee of The First Presbyterian Church of Pompano Beach, Florida; and has participated in over 20 missions both locally and internationally.

Arthur Kanev is a very experienced man, one who has been exposed to the many different things that life has to offer. One thing that Arthur has learned over the years is that happiness is something that cannot be purchased or achieved, but is a way of life, something that you work on, something that adapts and grows, changing with the individual. Because the very definition of happiness shifts over time it is something that people are destined to chase throughout the entirety of their life, so Arthur says you don't really find happiness, you chase it.

Arthur Carl Kanev worked in dentistry for over twenty years. It was the epicenter of his professional life, along with his work as an amusement business professional and as a religious missionary. Throughout his time in the field of dentistry he has gained a reputation as a highly trained expert who repeatedly satisfied his patients with his courteous approach and outstanding results. He specialized in general dentistry. full mouth reconstruction and maxillo-facial surgery and has worked in several different dental offices.
