Daniel Aram Hampikian loves animals and nature. As a philosopher, he is not afraid to speculate on subjects that to others may seem radical. Daniel Aram Hampikian believes some animals do have morals although they are much more limited than humans. He studied the subject to a degree with Mark Rowlands, with whom he co-taught Philosophy and Animals. For Daniel Aram Hampikian’s dissertation, he explored, “Moral Emotions in Nonhuman Animals.” He graduated with his Ph.D. in May of 2013.
