Network Attached (NAS) is a device used for the storage and retrieval of data from a central disk volume. This device is connected to the LAN and can be used by random users at the same time to store and access their data securely and reliably. These devices are controlled by browser-based help and therefore do not have a keyboard or display in their design. NAS devices are flexible and can be measured when additional storage is required. They are fast, easy to use, have high power at a very low cost. Small and medium enterprises can use this technology, especially in the emerging economy.
