When applying for a sponsor licence, a company must demonstrate its capability to adhere to sponsor duties and assure the Home Office of ongoing compliance. This is especially critical if the company has previously had a sponsor licence application refused or a licence revoked. In these cases, the Home Office will scrutinize a new application more closely, and the company may need to consider additional factors, including a possible cooling-off period.
