Release 1.1A CAMS-ME Portal Changes
CAMS-ME Portal Users These slides are a
supplement to the Asset Status Updates in CAMS-ME
Portal CBT course that you have already taken.
They are intended to help you identify and
understand the changes that have been
incorporated within Release 1.1A of CAMS-ME,
which is an update to the original version of the
CAMS-ME software. The changes are mostly subtle
and are meant to make your job a little easier.
So take a few moments to review these slides and
let us know if you have any questions.

Program Manager POC

• In the initial release, only the Accountability
  POC could be updated by portal users
• In Release 1.1A, the Program Manager POC
  Information can be entered by portal users.
• Reduces workload of Service Representatives who
  use the CAMS-ME source system
• Increases accuracy of information
• Better visibility at the DoD level

• Simply access your program and select the Edit
  button

Enter the required POC Information and click Save
Message will be displayed

Easier Printing

• In original release, you had to print screens
  using your browser printing functions
• Added a Print Friendly button that formats your
  program information into a clean, well-formatted
  view to print

From the display mode of your program, click on
the Print Friendly button

A window will appear with the file name of your
report. Select the file name to display your
program information

Your program information will be displayed in a
report style layout

From the browser window of your program report,
select the printer button. The report will be
sent to your default printer.

Adding Multiple Assets

• In original release, to add multiple assets in
  one transaction, you had to select the Add New
  Lines button and indicate how many lines you
  wanted to add

That process has been replaced by adding
additional input rows to the Add Asset screen

• You can add up to 50 assets, per transaction
• Simpler to use, easy to understand
• Click save when youve made all entries

Browser Settings

• In addition to the functionality changes to
  the portal, you will need to make these changes
  to your browser settings to ensure the portal
  functions properly
• Allow Cookies
• Disable Script Debugging
