1Component Assessment Management System
Welcome to the CAMSDemo. This overview provides
a quick glance at its many features. Through
Microsoft Access and common web browser formats,
CAMS provides a useful and structured approach
to managing the examination and condition
assessment records needed to ensure component
safety and reliability.
2Component Assessment Management System
CAMS provides a systematic review of components
for all Station and Generating Units. Specific
Unit data is displayed for each Station by
clicking on the appropriate Station Name at left.

To advance to the component review, simply select
the Unit from the list and click on the System of
interest, such as Piping, Turbine, Boiler,
Generator, SO2, or Balance of Plant components.

Then click on the System of interest, such as
Piping, Turbine, Boiler, Generator, SO2, or
Balance of Plant components.

Component ID
Click to Select System
Component Graphics
Data review and sorting is conducted via the
Component Data Review Screen, such as the one
displayed here for Piping Components. The layout
provides quick reference to Unit operating data
and easy one-click system selection. Component
details are viewed by clicking on the appropriate
Data Tab. Component Graphics are viewed by
simply clicking on the Graphics button shown at
the bottom left.
6Component Assessment Management System
Clicking the Testing tab shows a summary
listing of all examinations conducted for the
subject component, as shown for Main Steam piping
MSOH Spool 1.

Details for each specific test are viewed by
clicking on the Inspection Detail icon at the
left of each list item.

Sketches of each component can be displayed by
clicking on the Graphics button at the bottom
right of the Component Data Review screen.

Right-clicking on the sketch provides viewing
options, such as Zoom, Pan, Print and linking to
related graphic files.

Graphic files can either be viewed in CAMS or by
using common web browsers.

CAMS also has the advantage of linking document
files to specific components and data records.

Custom Reports readily generated by CAMS using
the toolbar menu include Financial Summary.

Test Results Reports.

And Technical Summary Reports. Of course, these
only are representative and can be customized to
meet your specific needs.
