- Water Cycle Paragraph
- Write a well-developed paragraph about the Water
Cycle. You should include a definition of the
Water Cycle and details about each stage that we
have studied. Your paragraph should include at
least five sentences. - Remember to ask yourself these questions
- Have I indented?
- Does my paragraph begin with a topic sentence?
- Have I included capital letters and ending
punctuation? - Do all my sentences begin the same way?
- Are my sentences different lengths?
12Essay Example
Topic Sentence ?
Sentence Variety
Indent ?
- The water cycle provides the world with
water. The first stage in the water cycle is
evaporation. Evaporation is when liquid is taken
from the earth and sent to the clouds as gas or
vapor. The second stage is called condensation.
Condensation is when the gas or vapor in the
clouds get cold and heavy until the cloud cant
hold the condensation anymore. Which brings us
to our next stage, precipitation. Precipitation
is when the gas or vapor in the clouds turn to a
liquid and fall from the sky. Our last stage in
the water cycle is accumulation. Accumulation is
when the precipitation on the ground runs down to
a body of water and then the cycle starts all
over again.
