BALLOREX
Dynamic balancing valves DN 15 - 32
  • APPLICATIONS
  • Central heating and district heating
  • systems
  • - BALLOREX is used in the installation.
  • Air conditioning
  • - BALLOREX on cooling and heating pipes.

Dynamic balancing valves DN 15 - 32
  • FUNCTION
  • Flow and differential pressure control
  • - Flow is set by the means of the baffle ring
  • - Max. differential pressure i set by the
    means of
  • an allen key
  • Differential pressure control
  • - Measured through the callibary
  • - Minimising the differental pressure across
    the
  • heating system or unit
  • Locking nut
  • - Secures the setting
  • Shut off handle
  • - Quater turn shut off of the risers

Dynamic balancing valves DN 15 - 32
  • BALLOREX QP M
  • For two-pipe system
  • QP always installed in the flow
  • QP always connected to BALLOREX M by
  • the means of the capillary
  • When using BALLOREX Flowmeter, 5 x DN
  • straight pipe is required to BALLOREX M
  • Max. working pressure 10 bar
  • Max. differential pressure 2 bar
  • Max. water temperature 120 C0

Example Required pressure drop 20 kPa and
Qmax 0,14 l/s From the intersection
between the wanted differential pressure and max.
Water flow the graph is follewed to the right for
reading of spindle position. The spindle is
adjusted in position 4

  • BALLOREX Q
  • Controls the water flow between
  • individual risers
  • For use in one-pipe heating systems
  • Can be mounted in the flow or in the
  • return
  • Secures correct distribution of water flow

BALLOREX
Dynamic balancing valves DN 15 - 32
Example Required Qmsx 0,125 l/s The spring
for the differential pressure (scale value) must
be set lowest possible e.g. position 2 (reduces
the pressure drop over the valve) At the
intersection between the graph position 2 and the
wanted water flow, the graph is followed to
reading of baffle position III

  • BENEFITS
  • Regardsless of pressure changes in the
  • system
  • (Keeps the set flow)
  • Range 10-40 kPa
  • Both for one and two-pipe heating systems
  • Both flow and differential pressure control
  • Measuring during setting
  • BALLOREX Q can be installed both in the
  • flow and the return line
