- The Single Record project should
- make the Single Record available for use across
NHS Wales (i.e. one shared solution) - ensure compatibility of solution with NHS England
- ensure compatibility with the rest of the UK
- deliver phased functionality from December 2005
to ensure programme credibility and enable early
benefits to be realised - provide the infrastructure required for staff to
access the Single Record at the point of care

staff to identify the correct information for the
