The Center
  • Program within the College of Applied Sciences
    (CAS)
  • Our goal is to aid students in their efforts to
    make up their deficiencies within one year and
    then transition to an associate program,
    baccalaureate program or certificate program.

  • CAT students
  • Have full admission to UC
  • Placement scores determine their curriculum
  • Have access to other UC course offerings
  • Complete a Learning Agreement

The Learning Agreement
  • Developed with student at orientation
  • To be completed in 4 quarters of full-time
    enrollment
  • Meet with advisor 3 times per quarter
  • Maintain required GPA for desired college
  • Must complete CAT courses with a C or higher

Transition
  • CAT has a transition agreement with the
    following colleges on UCs campus
  • CAS AS CAHS
  • CECH COB Nursing
  • Students are required to complete the terms of
    his/her learning agreement and maintain a certain
    GPA
