Purpose
  • Review compliance with the Carl D. Perkins Career
    and Technical Education Improvement Act of 2006,
    State requirements for Career Technical Education
    (CTE) and California State Laws pertaining to
    Work Experience Education (WEE)

Involvement
  • The governing board of each LEA participating in
    CTE shall appoint a CTE advisory committee
  • The committee shall consist of representatives of
    the general public knowledgeable about the
    disadvantaged, students, teachers, business,
    industry, administration and the field office of
    the Employment Development Department (EDD)
