BOARD MEMBERS
  • A first generation entrepreneur, founder and CMD
    of Richcore Lifesciences, Mr. Subramani is an
    engineer/MBA with over 8 years in the biotech
    industry and has spent most of his work life in
    new product development and technical services of
    industrial enzymes and specialty chemicals.
  • A textile engineer, from Govt. SKSJTI Bangalore,
    an alumnus and erstwhile president of the
    Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Club, of the
    Indian school of business (ISB), Hyderabad, he
    was a member of Biocons Marketing and technical
    services division.
  • Leading biotechnologist at the university of
    Boulder Colorado, Prof Kompala is Richcores
    technology mentor.
  • Well known to be a prodigy in cell culture based
    research and manufacturing, Prof Kompala has
    several projects on hand which can be explored as
    Richcore gains ground.
  • He is a B Tech. from Indian Institute of
    Technology, Madras, India and received his MS PhD
    from Purdue University. His research interests
    lie in recombinant mammalian cell culture and
    tissue engineering and while his teaching
    interests are in several areas of bioprocess
    engineering.

RICHCORES BOARD MEMBERS
  • Gp Captain R. N. Sharma, is a retired Commanding
    Officer from the Indian Air Force (IAF) with
    experience in training and supply chain
    management.
  • He manages production and logistics.
  • An engineer with enormous experience in
    communication, supply chain and operations
    management, he has spent his last 10 years with
    IAF as a trainer and has headed several technical
    training institutes of the IAF.
  • He brings maturity, operational strength and
    training expertise to the operations of Richcore.
  • A PhD from Cranfield University, UK , Prof
    Ramachandran taught Strategy and Entrepreneurship
    at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahemdabad
    for 15 years before he joined the Indian School
    of Business Hyderabad in 2001.
  • He has spearheaded a number of activities,
    including the setting up of the ISB K-Hub, a
    semi-virtual incubator and Society of
    Entrepreneurship Educators.
  • He has held several important positions
    including, Member, National Advisory Committee on
    Science Technology Entrepreneurs
    Parks/Technology Business Incubators, Government
    of India (since 2003), Advisor, Union Public
    Service Commission, Government of India (2000),
    Co-convener, Vision for Venture Capital Industry,
    Committee of the Securities and Exchange Board of
    India (SEBI)(1999).
  • He is a consultant to several growth
    organizations, and has conducted workshops for
    both medium and large firms especially in the
    bio-tech pharmaceutical industry.

PRODUCTS OVERVIEW
  • We formulate enzymes procured from different
    manufacturers as per end user requirements.
  • Following enzymes are used for varied
    applications viz. Amylases, Amyloglucosidases,
    Catalase, Glucanases, Hemicellulases, Lipases,
    Pectinases, Proteases and Phytases.
  • The finished products comprising of just one
    single enzyme or a combination of several enzymes
    are generally blends of basic enzymes and several
    additives.
  • The formulations developed are proprietary to
    Richcore and we are in the process filing
    patents.
  • Our target industries comprise Sugar and
    Distilleries, Animal Health Nutrition,
    Textiles, Pulp and Paper, Detergents, Leather and

INNOVATION INDEX
  • We have recently ventured into strategic tie-ups
    with various enzyme manufacturing multinational
    companies, for product development, marketing and
    distribution activities .
  • Broadly the scope of the collaborations include
    application research, formulation development,
    branding and marketing.
  • Richcore has also entered into an in-principle
    agreement with Dr Palani Swamy, MD of Rusni
    Distilleries, owner of several patents for
    production of sweet sorghum and technology for
    manufacturing alcohol from sweet sorghum syrup.
  • Richcore will provide all the necessary enzymes
    for alcohol production from sorghum by all
    parties which buy the technology.
  • Dr Palani Swamy has issued more than 10 licenses
    of his technology to companies in the
    Philippines, Africa and other developing nations
    .
  • Richcore will also provide research co operation
    to develop alcohol from cellulose in association
    with Dr Palani Swamy.
  • Further, we have signed an MOU with Sir M
    Visveswaraya Institute for technology, who have
    agreed to allow Richcores research team to use
    their high end research facility and staff for
    product development and pilot production of
    enzymes.
  • Also, currently a bio-composting project is being
    developed in association with them.
