2On the Night before Christmas, The North Pole was
covered in a blanket of icy, fluffy, white snow.
The snow fell gracefully to the ground in soft
clumps, and elf children ran joyfully through the
snow, and if you listened hard enough, you could
hear Christmas music playing softly from the
peaceful village. The temperature outside was
unbearable, but it didnt bring down the joy of
Christmas.
3Down below the beautiful, snowy wonderland, is
the Elves secret workshop. They pounded noisily,
twisted vigorously, bended carefully, chiseled
sharply, painted colorfully, and created unique
presents for all of the children of the world.
The elves sang cheerfully along to the Christmas
songs playing softly from the jukebox, as they
worked on the many presents.
4When all of the presents were created, the elves
all helped pack Santas huge, holly berry red,
sleigh with all of the presents they crafted in
the workshop. With a WOOSH! The Reindeers took
off at full speed, leaving the North Pole behind.
They flew for miles, until they reached Kent
Washington. They slowed down and gracefully
landed on the rooftop of little Billy Parkers
house. Santa pulled himself out of the sleigh,
and jumped down the chimney with his huge brown
bag.
5In Billys pleasantly warm house, Santa scanned
the room and he found just what he was looking
for. It was a scrolled up letter that read, Dear
Santa. Along with the note was a glass of
refreshingly cold milk, and a plate of soft,
chocolate chip cookies. Santas face lit up, and
his mouth formed a big, approving smile. He
picked up a cookie and read the note. He chuckled
a few times and then set the note back down.
6Santa knew just what the little boy wanted, and
pulled out a medium sized yellow box, with a
neatly tied, orange bow. Santa placed the present
under the big Christmas tree in the living room.
He grabbed his bag and hiked back up the chimney.
On the rooftop, Santa hopped in the front of the
sleigh with a THUMP! Gave the rope a flick, and
they were off. Soaring through the sky, Santa
busted out with a booming HO, HO, HO! and he
disappeared into the twinkling, white snow.
