Who Are These Heroes?Recruiting Standards
  • 17 w/ parental permission, otherwise 18 years old
  • US citizen or green card with permanent residence
    in US no student visas
  • No more than 10 of all recruits may be in
    category 4 of scores on the ASVAB, must still
    meet all other minimum standards above
  • Educational Qualifiers
  • High School senior or on track to graduate or a
    graduate
  • GED allowed but must have high Armed Services
    Vocational Aptitude Battery scores
  • Job Corps certificate in lieu of HS diploma
  • Medical Qualifiers
  • Not overweight
  • No Ritalin use within year of enlistment
  • Permanent disqualification such as severe
    asthma, stress fractures, etc
  • Extremist Tattoos in prominent visible location
  • Legal Qualifiers
  • No outstanding legal issues
  • No felony convictions
  • Multiple DUIs do disqualify
  • Must pass police and background checks
