in vessicles by exocytosis (action of
most glands) Ex. Salivary, digestive
Apocrine gland - secretion is part of cell that
has pinched off - humans may not have this type
Holocrine gland - secretion is a dead cell
released into the duct Ex. Oil glands of skin
