- There seems to be a high level of use of
instructional technology among faculty - A majority of respondents reported that a laptop
would meet both their classroom and office
computer needs (provided it had certain features) - However, a large number of respondents thought
that smart classrooms were necessary - Respondents perceived a number of benefits of
having a laptop - There were a number perceived disadvantages of
laptops, but many of those could be mitigated
