DAG National History
  • History
  • The Disability Affinity Group (DAG) was
    established in 2002 to provide guidance and build
    awareness of - and sensitivity to
    corporate-wide disability and accessibility
    issues.
  • Initially, the DAG focused on resources and
    issues for associates and customers with
    disabilities. In 2006, with the increased
    awareness of associates caring for children,
    parents and friends, the DAG broadened its
    mission statement to include those impacted by
    disabilities.
  • Today the DAG has 13 local chapters and more than
    800 members.
  • January 2006
  • 1 national team with monthly conference calls
  • 40 members
  • May 2006
  • First local chapter launched in Boston
  • September 2007
  • National team with monthly conference calls
  • Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago. Dallas,
    Delaware, Florida, New York City, Northern
    California, Phoenix, San Antonio, Southern
    California, Maine
  • Over 50 events and seminars nationwide attended
    by over 5000 associates either in person or by
    teleconference in 2007
  • 10 Events scheduled for October Disability
    Awareness Month 2007

Bank of Americas Partnership with NDI
  • We support NDI's objective to help people with
    disabilities achieve financial literacy and
    freedom (e.g., grant, volunteers)

    services locations where we have DAG chapter

    we will ensure that people with disabilities
    continue to have access - in all sense of the
