Little league shoulder syndrome

• Injury to the epiphysis and physis of the
  proximal humerus
• Boys between ages of 11-16
• Typically seen in baseball pitchers (Little
  Leaguers shoulder)
• Radiographically, asymmetric widening of the
  lateral margin of the proximal humeral physis is
  seen (arrow), occasionally with associated
  irregularity of the metaphysis or periosteal
  reaction
