Presently Neptune is in Aquarius, having moved in
on January 28, 1998. The last period of Neptune
in Aquarius was 1834-1848so its actually
unlikely you have Neptune in Aquarius.
Can anyone remember what was happening in Europe
during this period?

Romanticism!
This period witnessed the rise of Romanticism, a
reaction against the conventions and restraints
of classicism. It was the dominant note in the
artistic and intellectual life of Europe.
Aquarius promotes the concept of society in
general, but with Neptunes influence, this
concept was dissolved and completely reversed as
Romanticism emphasized the glorification of the
individual against society as a whole.

• They are detached and objective. They can be
  versatile and agile in communications. But they
  might not accomplish their promises or goals
  unless they are grounded in earth. They are the
  theory people in the theory versus practice
  debate.

• Aquarius is the 11th sign of the zodiac.

  the greater spectrum of society as a whole.

  opinions or accepting new ideas that they do not

  physical action, before they assess the practical

• In Aquarius the task it is a dreadfully
  unpleasant one! Hercules is asked to clean out
  the stables of King Augeasstables filled with
  the horrid stench of cattle dung accumulated
  over a great many years. The unsanitary
  conditions are making the people of the kingdom
  ill.

• The King cannot believe that Hercules is offering
  to do this work without reward and thinks it is a
  plot to take his throne but Hercules is
  motivated by selfless service. For this is what
  we learn in the sign of Aquarius, how to truly
  serve. The gift of Aquarius is the discovery that
  true service is the spontaneous outflow of the
  loving heart.

• The cleaning of the stables. Interestingly it was
  in a stable that the Christ child was born and
  Neptune (the ruler of Pisces) is known as the
  Christ, the Savior of the Piscean Age. However we
  are on the cusp of the new Age of Aquarius, so it
  would benefit us to update our archetype of the
  world Savior.

Spiritual Adulthood

• In our spiritual adulthood are we still looking
  around for someone to save us? Or can we
  recognize our brotherhood with all humanity and
  learn to serve each other? We must beware too
  that all too often our concept of ourselves as a
  server of others degenerates into a kind of
  martyrdom. Have you ever (metaphorically) cleaned
  the stables for nothing just so that you can
  feel appropriately unappreciated?
