Classroom Expectations
  • Follow Love and Logic Classroom expectations
  • Be on time
  • Stay on task
  • Follow our code of conduct- located on the back
    bulletin board.

How I Run My Love and Logic Classroom I will
treat you with respect, so you will know how to
treat me.  If you cause a problem, I will ask
you to solve it.  If you cant solve the
problem, or choose not to, I will do
something.  What I do, will depend on the
special person, and the special situation.  If
you feel something is unfair, whisper to me, Im
not sure thats fair, and we will talk

Secret All Star Student
  • Using sticks in the gold can, one secret student
    is chosen for the day. If that student doesnt
    have a card flip and behaves really well, they
    earn a star for the class board. When the class
    earns 25 stars, we will celebrate with a reward
    from the list that was developed in class.

Consequences
  • Warning- What are you supposed to be doing?
    Please do so or you will leave my classroom.
  • Think Time- If the student continues the wrong
    behavior they will be sent to think time to fill
    out a processing form.
  • After 3 think times in one day they will be sent
    to the principal.

  • 900910 Doors open, students unpack backpacks,
    sharpen pencils, eat breakfast, get dailies
    boxes.
  • 910-945 Entry tasks (Daily Oral Language,
    writing, and Daily Math Practice)

  • 1055-1110 Recess
  • 1110-1155 Specialists (PE, Music, Library)
  • 1155-1255 Social Studies and Science
  • 1256-155 Lunch and Recess
  • 155-245 Daily Literacy Rotations (Read to
    Self, Partner Reading, Journals, Small Groups,
    Read aloud)
  • 245-320 Whole Group Reading

    middle school.
