Program Costs

• Design/Construction Costs 700 million.
• Applies to all 802 bridges.
• MoDOT will issue GARVEE bonds.
• Bonds sold as needed.
• Approximately 50 million annual cost to MoDOT
  1/3 of annual federal bridge funds.

Guidelines for Bridges Selected

• Eliminate Condition 3 4 on Major Highways
• Eliminate Condition 3 on Minor Highways
• Eliminate as Many Condition 4 on Minor Highways
• No Mississippi/Missouri River structures
• No structures gt1,000 feet long
• Minimize R/W needs and roadway work

• Rehabs 48 years old Replacements 66 years

• In a rural location
• Avg. daily traffic of 1900 vehicles, but about
  300 carry less than 400 vehicles per day.
