Militarism

• Militarism is the policy of building up strong
  armed forces to prepare for war.

Stalemate

• Stalemate is when neither side is strong enough
  to defeat the other.

Trench warfare

• Trench Warfare is when soldiers spend day after
  day shelling the enemy. Then officers would order
  troops over the top.
• Soldiers crawled out of the trenches to race
  across no mans land and attack the enemy.
• Most offensive resulted in many deaths but gained
  little new territory.

• Definition Is the spreading of ideas or beliefs
  that help a particular cause and hurt an opposing
  cause.

• Franz Ferdinand was an Austrian archduke who was
  assassinated by a man called Gavrilo Princip

• Gavrilo Princip was the man who assassinated
  Franz Ferdinand by shooting him in an open car on
  July 28th, 1914
