1 in Italy for milk production per cow Lodi
is 1 for corn crop, 239 bushels per acre
(15,000 kg/ha) - Lodi is the gate to the Agribusiness district of
Lombardy and Emilia - The Milan State University is transferring both
faculties of Veterinary Medicine and a Department
of Agriculture to the Science Park - Several research centers are already located in
Lodi (e.g. Monsanto) - The scientific park is endorsed by international
and local government European Union, Italian
Government, Lombardy Region, Lodi Province, Lodi
City Council
71. LOCATION 17 miles from Milan
Lodi
- 17 Miles south of Milan
- A rapid train connects the Park to Milan subway
system, with 1 train every 20 (10 during rush
hours) by 2006 - 13 Miles from Linate Airport

224. FACILITIES International Cooperation
The Parco Tecnologico is planning co-operation
projects MILK for Bolivia Peru A humanitarian
project sponsored by several Universities and
International associations. Its aim is to reduce
milk dependency of South America countries. At
present we have increased 5-folds (from 1,5 to 7
liters) milk production in the area. Within the
project, the building of a creamery is under
evaluation.
