The name Rotaract comes from the phrase Rotary
in Action.

Rotaract- Thats the club for high school
students, right?
Interact is the program for high school students.
Rotaract is for young professionals ages 18-35.

Has there always been Rotaract?
  • Began in 1968 in North Carolina
  • Today, there are 7,600 clubs Internationally
  • Rotary Internationals fastest growing service
    program

Rotaractors and 40 years old. Isnt that an
oxymoron?
Rotaract turned 40 on Thursday! Clubs around the
world are celebrating with World Rotaract Week
(WRW for those in the circle), an annual event.

What are we supposed to do for WRW?
During WRW, Rotary International encourages
Rotaract and Rotary to attend the others
meetings, plan special social events and service
projects.

Does my club sponsor a Rotaract Club?
  • Roseville Rotary sponsors Twin Cities Rotaract,
    chartered in 1996.
  • Northfield Rotary sponsors Cannon Valley
    Rotaract, chartered in 2006.

Theres four clubs?
  • River Falls Rotary sponsors St. Croix Valley
    Rotaract, chartered in 2008.
  • Austin Rotary is working with the Austin Rotaract
    Club, which may charter this year.
