- Child Focus intervenes in all cases of
disappearance, (parental) abductions and sexual
exploitation or abuse of children, including
missing persons between 18 and 25 years, and this
in all stages prevention, search and location,
analyses. - Child Focus contributes to the prevention and the
actual fight against all forms of child
trafficking, paedophilia and child pornography. - Child Focus is active on the Belgian territory.
- Child Focus collaborates with federal authorities
in Belgium (justice, law enforcement, foreign
affairs) on the base of official agreements.

- Child Focus organises the necessary guidance of
the victims (parents, children, youngsters) from
the beginning to the end of the case and works
therefore closely together with the existing
institutions in charge of victim-support. - Child Focus establishes a fund for the financial
assistance of parent-victims. - Child Focus establishes a European/International
network regrouping institutions with similar
goals and/or actively contributes to similar
initiatives (cf. European Federation and ICMEC). - Child Focus plays a key-role in the creation of
similar national centres abroad (Europe).

to the problem of missing and exploited children. - To provide instantaneous dissemination of
pictures and information on missing children
through the Internet, advocate stronger laws to
protect children, assist non-governmental
organisations, offer training to professionals
and law enforcement agencies around the world and
more generally increase public awareness.
