9A Few Words from Meadville Lombard Theological
School
- Instead of an interview, we decided to contact
some past and current members of the Board of
Trustees from Meadville Lombard Theological
School in Chicago, Illinois. A key member of the
Board is Larry Ladd. When Rembert Ryan Stokes Jr.
was a trustee for the school, Larry Ladd was also
a sitting member. Ladd is now the Chair of the
Board, and the school had great things to say
about Rembert Ryan Stokes Jr. and his involvement
with the Theological School. All of the
information we have used can be found on the
schools website. - Stokes put a lot of time and effort into the
Theological School, and while he was on the Board
of Trustees he helped guide the school, and
remained on the board while teaching at several
other universities nationwide. He proved himself
to be a good multi-tasker, and contributed ideas
to the school while he served on the Board.
