INSTALATION OF A FULL HYDROGEN FUEL CELL SYSTEM
FOR BOATS IN THE NATURAL PARK OF ALBUFERA
(VALENCIA)
The proposal aims to establish a Hydrogen station
for the boats in the area of El Palmar with an
independent energy character. This will be
accomplished through a solar photovoltaic
installation. It will provide electricity for the
visitors centre and for the generation of
hydrogen fuel. On the other hand, the actual
boats of the natural park will be adapted for the
new available technology. The project will
finish with the noise, the oil and will make the
boats work with totally clean energy.

DERCOVA 2007.
This initiative is focused on the organization of
the Sustainable Development Days in the
Valencian Region, which will take place during
the celebration of the Americas Cup in Valencia.
This will be during July of 2007. The objective
is to implement the transfer of knowledge of the
best practices in renewable energies and energy
efficiency between the participant regions and to
implement regional energy policies and new energy
legislations at a regional level.

CREATION OF TWO REGIONAL ENERGY AGENCIES.
The aim of this proposal is to establish two new
regional energy agencies in the Region of
Valencia. The creation of local and regional
agencies aim to establish an energy network of
cooperation in energy issues through support
communication and dissemination tools. Over 25
new energy agencies are supposed to be created in
this new call for proposals.

TRAINING ENERGY EFFICIENCY MODULES FOR THE MAIN
PUBLIC AND PRIVATE ENERGY CONSUMERS IN DEVELOPING
COUNTRIES.
In order to improve the energy efficiency in
developing countries in North-Africa the proposal
aims to establish training e-modules for the
different public and private entities which are
the main energy consumers in developing
countries. This proposal will be implemented
through an e-learning tool developed between the
main actors involved from developing countries
and experts of the University that will provide
the knowledge supply.

ACTIVE ENERGY EFFICIENCY ORIENTATION IN PUBLIC
BUILDINGS.
The proposal aims to establish the main aspects
in which public buildings in our region loose
energy efficiency. This will be done through an
informatics tool developed by architecture
experts. This will clarify the fields in each of
the studied buildings where there is a lack of
investment and where the improvement in energy
efficiency will be bigger with a smaller economic
investment. The project will implement the
economic efficiency of energy investments.

DISSEMINATION OF FINANCIAL INCENTIVES TO
BIO-FUELS PRODUCERS AND FINAL CONSUMERS.
This initiative intends to promote and
disseminate the different ways in which bio-fuels
are promoted through all the member states. This
will help to the future implementation of
financial incentives and the introduction in the
common market of second generation bio-fuels. The
proposal will also provide a clear point of view
of the best measures applicable to implement the
use of bio-fuels.
