• New Hampshire the fastest growing state in the
  nine-state Northeast region for four decades
• New Hampshire population more than doubled from
  1960 to 2000
• From 1990 to 2004, New Hampshire grew by 17.4,
  twice as fast as the rest of New England, gaining
  more than 13,000 people per year
• New Hampshire is projected to add over 350,000
  residents between 2000 and 2025, four-fifths of
  them in the four southeastern counties (including
  Merrimack)
