Noah Finding Grace

• Gen.68-9 But Noah found grace in the eyes of
  the Lord. These are the generations of Noah
  Noah was a just man and perfect in his
  generations, and Noah walked with God.
• Gen.71 And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou
  and all thy house into the ark for thee have I
  seen righteous before me in this generation.
• Did Noah earn the Grace of God by his conduct?
• Grace a willingness to bestow favor or mercy on
  someone who has done nothing to merit it.
• Grace is a free gift from God that cannot be
  earned!

Grace and Faith

• Heb.117 By Faith Noah, being warned of God of
  things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared
  an ark to the saving of his house by the which
  he condemned the world, and became the heir of
  the righteousness which is by faith.
• Heirto inherit or possess.
• Noah was able to inherit Gods Grace, His
  Righteousness, by his faith
• Gods Grace is always contingent on our Faith!
• God extended His Grace Favor to Noah because of
  his Faith.
• Gen.622 Thus did Noah according to all that
  God commanded him, so did he.
• Gen.75 And Noah did according unto all that the
  Lord commanded him.
• Gen.79 There went in two and two unto Noah into
  the ark, the male and the female, as God had
  commanded Noah.
• Gen.716 And they that went in, went in male and
  female of all flesh, as God had commanded him
  and the Lord shut him in.

Abraham Finding Grace
Rom.41-5 What shall we say then that Abraham
our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath
found? For if Abraham were justified by works,
he hath whereof to glory but not before God.
For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed
God, and it was counted unto him for
righteousness. Now to him that worketh is the
reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But
to him that worketh not, but believeth on him
that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted
for righteousness.
Abraham and Sarah devise their own plan to have a
child by Hagar Sarahs handmaid.
Abraham is given the promise. Accepts the
promise with Faith
Abraham thinks of adoption. Asks God to make his
head servant, Eliezer his heir. God promises a
heir from own bowels.
Abraham asks how shall I know? God tells him make
a sacrifice. With that sacrifice a covenant
established based on Gods promises
Abraham tells a lie to Pharaoh my wife is my
sister
Heb.118 By Faith Abraham, when he was called to
go out into a place which he should after receive
for an inheritance, obeyed and he went out, not
knowing whither he went.
Abrahams works fall short of what God requires
Turn aside from Gods plan. Works fall short of
God requires

How do we find Grace?

• Not by works
• Rom.320-21 Therefore by the deeds of the law
  there shall no flesh be justified in his sight
  for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now
  the righteousness of God without the law is
  manifested, being witnessed by the law and the
  prophets
• Rom.324 Being justified freely by his grace
  through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus
• grace is a gift that we can never earn or
  deserve.
• Rom.56-9 For when we were yet without strength,
  in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For
  scarcely for a righteous will one die yet
  peradventure for a good man some would even dare
  to die. But God commendeth his love toward us,
  in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died
  for us. Much more then, being now justified by
  his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through
  him.

Grace through Faith

• Rom.51-2 Therefore being justified by faith,
  we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus
  Christ By whom also we have access by faith
  into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in
  hope of the glory of God.
• Eph.28-9 For by grace are ye saved through
  faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift
  of God Not of works, lest any man should
  boast.
• We receive Gods grace not because of what we do,
  but because of what Jesus Christ has done.
• When we then put Faith in what Jesus Christ has
  done, we then receive Gods grace.
• True Faith will then lead us to obey God.

baptism into death that like as Christ was
raised up from the dead by the glory of the
Father, even so we should walk in newness of
life. For if we have been planted
together in the likeness of his
death, we shall be also
in the likeness of his
resurrection.

Rom.63-4 Know ye not, that so many of us were
baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his
death? Therefore we are buried with by baptism
into death..
Rom.66 Knowing this, that our old man is
Crucified with him..
