Activity 1
  • Based on the readings, you have to create a
    visual representation of perfectionism. It may
    include text, diagrams, and so on. Remember it
    must be representative of the inherent
    characteristics of perfectionism
  • Materials Large sheets of paper markers
  • Time Allotment 8 minutes for drawing 5 minutes
    for presentation

  • What is the role of the teacher with regard to
    the gifted perfectionists with maladaptive
    behaviors?
  • It is possible to overachieve?
  • What strategies may teachers employ in the
  • classroom to best match the needs of their
  • gifted perfectionists?

  • In your cluster groups, you will be given time to
    present your findings. As each group
    presents, we will be expanding the discussion
    with and /or create links to the research using
    the overheads.
