• This is David.
• He is only a teenager.
• He is our main character.

Goliath

• This is Goliath.
• He is 9ft tall
• He is a philistine.
• He is our bad guy.

The Story

• One there lived a teenager called David. He
  looked after his dads sheep when a bear or a
  lion stole one of the lambs, he would find it,
  rescue the lamb and single handily kill it.

• One day when David was looking after his sheep
  and his brothers where out at war, there dad sent
  David to see his brothers. So David set out to
  see his brothers.

• Meanwhile, Goliath the philistine came to the
  Israelites
• and said I dare someone to challenge me. If
  you win, my army will be your slaves, but if I
  win your army will be our slaves. Goliath kept
  saying this challenge for forty days.

• When David got to the battle field he heard
  Goliath say these terrible words. David saw the
  terrified people and said We are the army of the
  living god. Why should we be so scared of this
  philistine? David also heard some people saying
  the person who defeats this philistine will get a
  great reward.

• Soon enough, David went to see king Saul and said
  Can I challenge this philistine?
• Saul eventually said yes.
• Saul gave David his own chain mail and
  sword but it was too heavy and David fell over.
• In the end David whore no armour. David took
  his catapult and on the way to the battle field,
  David picked up five pebbles.

• When Goliath saw David he started putting him
  down by saying stuff like You will be fed to the
  birds! But David would not listen to anything he
  said.
• Soon the battle began.
• David took one pebble from his bag, he put it in
  his catapult and flung it. It hit Goliath in the
  for head, it went through and hit his brain.
  Goliath instantly died and fell to the ground.

• David took Goliaths sword and cut off his head.
• The philistines ran away and the Isralites chased
  them.
• Later David had a huge party and he met a man
  called Jonathon. They became best friends.
