How do stars form?

• When stars die they have a supernova that makes
  new stars.
• Stars form in clouds of dust and gasses called a
  nebula.
• Bits of gasses and dust churn, gravity begins to
  pull them into the nebula and squeezes them in a
  ball.
• That make stars.

The Sun!

• The sun has layers just like the earth. The Core
  of the sun is called the photosphere. Then the
  chromosphere, the outer part of the sun is called
  the corona.

What is a Star?

• All stars are balls of hot gasses. Stars give off
  electromagnetic radiation. Stars can be small,
  medium size like our sun, giants and super giants
  witch are 300 times our sun.
• Stars can also be different colors, by its temp.
  if its a cooler star it would be bright red, but
  when it gets hotter they turn to lighter colors
  until it turns into blue.

Constellations!

• Today scientists have broken the sky into 88
  CONSTELLATIONS!
• A constellation is a group of stars that form
  patterns in the sky.
• Most of the patterns were from Greek myths.

How do Galaxies work?

• A galaxy is a huge system of stars and planets
  and dusts and gasses.
• Gravity is keeping them together.
• Stars are moving around but you can predict on
  the way they move.
• In our galaxy the sun is in the middle of our
  galaxy and the Earth revolves around the sun.
• Everything in the universe moves.
