Who am I?

• I am a country girl at heart.
• I have a thick accent.
• I am a senior this year.
• I believe the best in people.
• I am the oldest of two children.
• I am family and goal oriented.
• I have a pet turtle named Bernard.

Three things you need to know about me

• I am LOUD.
• I am from a tiny town about 25 minutes away from
  Gainesville. My hometown only had one red light
  the entire time I lived there. (They just
  installed a second one a year and a half ago.)
• I love flip-flops and gum.

Two reasons I want to teach

• I believe teaching is a callingnot just
  something you wake up one morning and decide you
  want to do. I believe I am called to be a
  teacher.
• Teachers change the world.

One surprise about me

• I lifted weights for five years during
  Junior/Senior High. Our lady lifters have been
  undefeated for 10 years and I competed at state
  three different times. I also trained several
  state lifters (both males and females) and even
  participated in Junior Olympic meets for Team
  Florida for a couple of years before starting
  college!

In five years

• I will just have completed a couple years in
  Teach for America
• Then I will probably try to move to a small town
  (where everybody knows your name and your
  business) and continue teaching there.

Goals for this year

• Pass all of my classes
• Be more organized
• Learn to like babies (my best friend is pregnant)
• Go on a cruise (and not get seasick)

These are a few of my favorite things

• My family
• Easter
• My favorite song is the which ever one is stuck
  in my head at that moment (but I really like
  Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen)
• I love Disney! (I didnt have the Disney channel
  when I was growing upnow I watch it all the
  time.)
