Land based access has increased
exponentially. Chankanaab recreational park,
Jeep tours (Dzul Ha and Playa Corona), Punta
Sur Tour operators are searching for new market
niches which represents increase in applications
for new permits. Kayaks, marine development
(artificial reefs, marine life touching pens ,
platforms) as well as new activities such as
SNUBA, Sea treks, Sea Scooters Main risk is for
shallow near shore coral communities.
