Conclusions

• second quadrupole can be used to relax the
  requirements for the beam-size measurements
• beam should be focused on screen in HEDA
• slit should be used to get rid of slices mixing
• narrow enough to prevent mixing
• wide enough to provide sufficient signal
• 3 cm looks reasonable?..

  vacuum properties)
