Maintenance Technician RD (Zaventem)

• The Technical Centre is the location for Toyota
  Motor Europes Research Development (RD),
  Purchasing and Production Engineering (PE)
  functions. From there Toyota ensures its cars
  match European customers demands. RD undertakes
  body, power train chassis and electronics design,
  the selection and testing of materials and
  components, engine evaluation, and the tuning of
  the driveability characteristics of all Toyota
  models. PE undertake plant building construction
  and equipment and tooling preparation for mass
  production. Purchasing oversees the procurement
  of more than 4 billion of parts and materials
  each year.
• Description
• Within our RD centre, the Technical
  Administration Department (TAD) is responsible
  for the support of all RD Divisions. One of the
  responsibilities of TAD is the maintenance and
  calibration of all the testing equipment located
  in our Technical Centre. Currently we are looking
  for a Maintenance Technician to join this team.
• Responsibilities
• You are responsible for the organization of all
  necessary preventive maintenance and the
  calibration activity of the test equipment
  throughout the year. This involves close
  communication with the Testing Division
• You take care of the failure analysis and all
  reoccurrence prevention
• You are responsible for the actual calibration
  and maintenance of a large part of the testing
  equipment
• You manage spare parts for the on-site testing
  equipment
• You are responsible for the quick and proper
  repair of all Test Equipment Failures. This
  involves both actual repair activities and the
  contact follow up of external maintenance
  suppliers
• You actively investigate any possible
  improvement of the testing equipment
• You assist the installation of any new testing
  equipment on-site
• You report to management on all ongoing
  activities on a regular basis
• Profile
• You possess an A1 degree in electro-mechanics,
  electricity, or are equivalent by experience
• You have minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  maintenance of production equipment, calibration,
  .
• You have a good technical understanding of
  pneumatics, electricity and mechanics
